Attention Deficit Disorder Resources
Attention Deficit Disorder Resources is a national non-profit organization that helps people with ADD or ADHD achieve their full potential through education, support, and networking opportunities. Their website has more than 100 articles written by national ADHD authorities, as well as adults with ADHD. Numerous links to ADHD-related websites and service providers and a national ADHD events calendar are available.

The American Printing House for the Blind
Provides the special media, tools, and materials necessary to promote independence of blind and visually impaired persons.

Keep Kids Learning
IRA has joined with several other education organizations to sponsor Keep Kids Learning, a grassroots campaign to bring needed change to the U.S. Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). If you want children with learning problems to be heard in Congress, be their voice: Visit the Keep Kids Learning site to find information about joining the e-mail campaign. This initiative is funded by the National Center for Learning Disabilities.

This site is an interactive guide to learning disabilities for parents, teachers, and other professionals. Numerous articles, resources, and ideas on a variety of LD topics are available.

Reading Assist Institute (RAI)
RAI provides instructional classes that directly link sight, sound, touch, and movement to teach intensive, systematic phonics. Serving Delaware, southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and eastern Maryland, RAI places teams of highly trained tutors in schools to instruct students. RAI interacts with the community through a referral service for private tutors and a lending library, and it sponsors speakers and book reviews. RAI advocates for early identification and appropriate instruction of children with specific reading disabilities.

Recognition & Response
Recognition & Response is a systematic approach to addressing early learning difficulties before kindergarten. Developed and managed by the National Center for Learning Difficulties, RecognitionandResponse.org offers information and resources to help early educators address the needs of young children (3 to 5 year-olds) who show signs that they may not be learning in an expected manner, even before they begin kindergarten.

Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D)
RFB&D's materials are for all people who cannot effectively read standard print because of a visual, perceptual or other physical disability. RFB&D records educational and reference materials that are not available on tape or disk from other sources, in areas such as history, math, science and economics.

SchwabLearning.org
This site helps parents identify and manage their children’s learning disabilities. A variety of topics are covered in detail, including AD/HD, LD in general, dyslexia, IEP, homework, reading, and writing.

Special Education Resources on the Internet (SERI)
SERI is a collection of Internet information resources of interest to those involved in the fields related to Special Education. Mental retardation, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, and hearing impairment are only a few of the major resource groupings.

The Ministry of Education provides resources to educators who work with students who have special needs. Teachers everywhere can make use of this practical, need-specific information.

TeachingLD: Information and Resources for Teaching Students with Learning Disabilities
Created by the Division for Learning Disabilities (DLD) of the Council for Exceptional Children, this site's purpose is to provide trustworthy and up-to-date resources about teaching students with learning disabilities.

Toolkit on Teaching and Assessing Students With Disabilities The U.S. Department of Education has created an online tool kit to help states and districts do a better job of teaching and testing students with disabilities. The kit provides comprehensive information, guidance and resources in four areas: instructional practices, assessment, behavior and accommodations.
