Using Book Talks to Promote High-level Questioning Skills

Students need to ask high-level questions in order to develop critical thinking and deep comprehension. To promote high-level questioning skills, the author used book talks with her fifth-grade students. This strategy intends to grab the audience's interest and make them want to read.
