Tableaux Vivants in the Literature Classroom

Tableaux vivants provide fun and interesting ways to begin class discussion of ideas about new books and reactions to books already read. A drama technique somewhat like charades, a tableau vivant is interactive and involves cooperative learning and creative and critical thinking.
