(Individual articles can also be purchased on a pay-per-view basis.) Subscriptions include eight issues, and are renewable annually. The RT volume year runs from September to May with a combined December/January issue. For individualsIndividual subscriptions, which include IRA membership, are available at the prices below (quoted in U.S. dollars). All subscriptions for individual IRA members include online access to issues published during the subscription year, as well as to archival issues beginning from September 2004. To access the online journals, simply go to the log-in page, or click on any link to full text on the current or any archived issue table of contents. With this membership option, you receive one year of access to all available issues of RT, Journal of Adolescent & Adult Literacy, and Reading Research Quarterly, all selected articles from these journals, and all selected book chapters. The price is only US$100 with any membership purchase ($60 for students, $50 for those in countries with developing economies). Institutional subscriptionsFor schools, libraries, and other institutions, print subscriptions include six complimentary issues of Reading Today. Online subscription access, which is sold separately from print, is based on authentication via Internet protocol address or range and includes access to the issues published during the subscription year for the duration of that year. Purchasing individual articlesIndividual journal articles are available for purchase on a pay-per-view basis at a cost of US$8.75 per article ($6.95 for IRA members). Pay-per-view purchasers receive a link to follow to retrieve their purchased article, which can be viewed on screen (HTML format) or downloaded, printed, and saved to your desktop (PDF file). To purchase an article, simply click on a link to full text from the current journal table of contents, from any archived issue, from the selected articles listing, or from any article abstract. You will then see a link to make this purchase, which will take you to our secure online store. Once your purchase transaction is processed, you will receive a link to follow to access the article. The link appears both on the confirmation screen, and in a confirmation e-mail. Articles must be retrieved within 24 hours of purchase. If you are interested in an article from RT that is not available online at this site, visit your local or university library, or contact our customer service department to inquire about purchasing a copy ($15 per article delivered by postal mail or fax). |
