Thank You, Kenneth Branagh

This article presents a specific approach to teaching William Shakespeare's Hamlet to high school students by using Branagh's film version. Using the closed-captioned feature of the film, students see and read the text while watching the action. Observation indicates that comprehension and overall reading skills are improved.
