A half-century ago, Russell Hoban introduced a young badger named Frances to the world, and she became a classic character in children's literature. To celebrate the milestone, HarperCollins is issuing the Frances 50th Anniversary Collection, a boxed set of paperback I Can Read! editions of three Frances stories. To learn more, read this article by Sally Lodge from Publishers Weekly.com.
Meanwhile, HarperCollins also has issued a 75th anniversary edition of Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Both this book and the Frances collection feature artwork by noted illustrator Garth Williams. For further information visit the HarperCollins website.
