ReadMobile tours Sunshine State

The We Give Books ReadMobile is driving across Florida on a 30 school whistle-stop tour, encouraging schools and communities to celebrate the power of reading.

The bookmobile began in Jacksonville on February 28 and will visit different locations every day during the month of March. The We Give Books ReadMobile, an initiative from Penguin and the Pearson Foundation, will stop at local schools and host reading events and creative projects with school children. In partnership with United Way Florida, it will also stop at local community centers whenever possible.

Thousands of books statewide will be given to children and families this spring, and young people and adults are encouraged to come together at We Give Books to help others. To learn more about the tour and see the complete list of stops, visit the We Give Books website.
