Library of Congress redesigns homepage

by Annie Enchakattu | Jan 20, 2011

The homepage of the U.S. Library of Congress is getting a new look. It is a very early step in a much broader process under way at the Library to develop a comprehensive strategic plan for all of its Web properties. Aside from heightened coherence and cohesiveness, a major goal is to put in place a new information architecture that will make the Library's vast array of information, collections, and services much easier to find and, overall, much more useful to users.

To get a tour of the new homepage, read Matt Raymond’s article in the Blogs section of the Library of Congress website.
