NAPPA Gold Award children's books named

The National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA), now in its 20th year, has announced the winners of its 2010 Children’s Products Competition. Out of more than 200 entries, NAPPA’s expert judges and family testers selected 23 books and magazines to receive the esteemed NAPPA Gold Award and 24 books for NAPPA Honors.

Among the 2010 NAPPA Gold winners in the books category are:

Beautiful Oops! by Barney Saltzberg (Workman Publishing, 2010)

Dancing Feet by Lindsey Craig, illustrated by Marc Brown (Random House Children’s Books, 2010)

Amazing Airplanes by Gaby Goldsack, illustrated by Lee Montgomery and Anthony Williams (Silver Dolphin Books, 2010)

Birmingham Sunday by Larry Dane Brimner (Boyds Mills Press, 2010)

The Fat Boy Chronicles by Diane Lang and Michael Buchanan (Sleeping Bear Press, 2010)
