Education can be bipartisan issue, says Duncan

Despite the sweeping political changes created by this Tuesday's election results, U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan remains upbeat, according to an article by Kendra Marr appearing on POLITICO.com. Duncan believes that education reform can be a bipartisan issue that unites Democrats and Republicans. "Am I hopeful? Absolutely," he told POLITICO, adding that overhauling the nation's public education offers a "golden opportunity" to improve the quality of life for everyday Americans.
