The National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center) has released a new report, Building Ready States: A Governor’s Guide to Supporting a Comprehensive, High-Quality Early Childhood State System, designed to help governors and states as they work to create comprehensive, high-quality early childhood systems.
The report offers six different strategies for building these systems, and it includes information about how the policy map for early childhood care and education is different from other public systems such as the K-12 system. Read the full report here and learn more about other NGA Center Education Division efforts at this website.
