In an effort targeted at helping young adults, especially teens from low-income families, stay on track to earn college degrees, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is making Next Generation Learning Challenges grants of $250,000 to $750,000 available to educational technology developers. The grants are designed to support ed-tech projects such as online learning, open courseware, and even digital gaming that supports students' learning.
