Curious George partners with Time for Kids magazine

Popular PBS Kids series character Curious George will be featured in Time for Kids magazine beginning in October 2010. Each month Curious George will appear on the cover of a Time for Kids Edition K-1 magazine. The issue will feature a full-page activity, which is hosted by Curious George, about that month’s theme. The October issue’s theme is “Transportation and Maps” and is set to arrive in classrooms the last week of September. Six additional themed issues will follow monthly.  

A corresponding worksheet also featuring Curious George will be included in the K-1 teacher’s guide, which participating teachers receive in hard copy. The teacher’s guide and the worksheet are also available online. The worksheets are designed for kids to take home to families so they can continue to explore the topic at home.
