Read for the Record update

by Annie Enchakattu | Sep 27, 2010

Last year, more than 2.5 million people participated in Jumpstart's Read for the Record campaign. In 2010, the campaign once again aims to set a world record on October 7 for the greatest number of people reading the same book on the same day.

This year, We Give Books is making it possible for everyone around the world to read Jumpstart’s Read for the Record campaign book, The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, online for free. We Give Books readers will also help donate 100,000 books to young children in need so they can take part in breaking the record. For more information about Read for the Record, click here.
