No monkeying around: Curious George is back!

by Annie Enchakattu | Aug 16, 2010

Hot on the heels of a 2010 Emmy Award win for "Outstanding Children's Animated Program," the Curious George television series is back for a fifth season on PBS, beginning Labor Day (check local PBS listings for details). Based on the best-selling Curious George books by Margret and H.A. Rey, the television series expands George's world to include a host of colorful characters and original locales, while maintaining the charm of the beloved books. To learn more about Curious George and other PBS programming for children, visit PBS Kids.

Meanwhile, Curious George also is starring in a series of public service advertisements launched by the U.S. Library of Congress and the Advertising Council to encourage parents to read with their children and inspire them to become lifelong learners.
