Free textbooks?

The United States spends $8 billion to $15 billion per year on textbooks, estimates Scott McNealy, former chief executive of Sun Microsystems and current Board member of Curriki, a nonprofit online hub for free textbooks and other course material. "It seems to me we could put that all online for free," he says.
