IRA partners with Wiley Blackwell

The International Reading Association (IRA) has partnered with renowned scholarly publisher Wiley-Blackwell to expand the scope of our research journals. Members will still visit IRA’s website, www.reading.org, to access journals and the wealth of IRA’s resources. IRA will continue to provide each journal with peer-reviewed content through its professional journal editors and review boards. All copyrights of journal content will continue to be owned by IRA.

The digital editions of The Reading Teacher (RT), Journal of Adolescent & Adult Literacy (JAAL), and Reading Research Quarterly (RRQ) will be hosted on Wiley Online Library instead of the IRA website beginning November 14, 2011.

Here are instructions to access IRA journals online:

  1. Go to www.reading.org.
  2. Log in with your IRA member username and password.
  3. Click on the journal name link.
  4. You will be transferred to the journal’s home page on Wiley Online Library, where you will have access to all journal content that is part of your IRA membership. NOTE: Do not use your IRA log-in again on Wiley Online Library. Your IRA log-in will not work on Wiley Online Library and may cut off your access to the journals.

On Wiley Online Library, you can also view IRA journal archives and search the journals.
