Subscribe to the LEG-UPDATE list and receive notification when the new legislative update becomes available each month. To subscribe, just follow these simple steps:
1. Address an e-mail message to listserv@bookmark.reading.org
2. In the message window, type
SUBSCRIBE GOV-REL full name
e.g., if your name is Jane Doe, type
SUBSCRIBE GOV-REL Jane Doe
3. Be certain your message does not contain any other information. If you use a “signature” option, disable it so that it will not appear at the bottom of the message.
4. Send your message.
5. Shortly you will receive a confirmation message sent to your e-mail address. Read the message and follow the directions it contains within 48 hours of receipt to confirm your subscription.
6. If you experience problems, please send a message to Electronic Services.
The LEG-UPDATE list functions as an “announce only” list. Messages can be posted only by Association staff and are limited to legislative updates and related information. The subscriber list is not made available for any other purposes, and the International Reading Association does not use the names and e-mail addresses on the list for anything other than posting these reports.
