Bylaws and Resolutions Committee

Charges:

  1. Review, in response to Board or committee directive, specific articles and sections of the Bylaws and recommend desirable changes to the 2008 Delegates Assembly.

  2. Review resolutions submitted by committees or the Board of Directors to ensure they are in accordance with the Bylaws and that they are in proper form.

  3. For each resolution transmitted to the 2008 Delegates Assembly, prepare a brief statement of pro and con views, where applicable, for each proposed resolution, a plan for implementation of the resolution, and estimated cost of implementing the resolution.

  4. Review resolutions that were approved by the Delegates Assembly 10 years ago to determine if they should be retired, revised, or reaffirmed. The appropriate resolutions will be provided to the committee for its convention meeting.
