Subcommittee on International Literacy Project Grants

Charges:

1. Review applications for the Constance McCullough Award based on established criteria and recommend a nominee to the Board by January 4, 2008. One award of US$5,000 is available annually for an international development project carried out outside of North America.

2. Evaluate and recommend literacy projects in developing countries that are to be funded from the Literacy Projects in Developing Countries Fund and recommend nominees to the Board by January 4, 2008. Applicants for the Constance McCullough Award may be considered for this grant’s competition as well, provided they meet all necessary guidelines and requirements for this competition.
