Title I Committee

Charges:

1. Collaborate with the Government Relations Committee in advocacy efforts for the reauthorization of Title I, Reading First, and NCLB (No Child Left Behind).

2. Monitor and provide updates to the Board on Title I related legislation as it changes from its current version through the legislative and regulatory processes.

3. Disseminate relevant information about the changing nature of Title I and make suggestions to the IRA Board of Directors on how to use IRA systems to inform legislators, IRA members, and related organizations about IRA’s position.
