Additional Registration Information

International Attendees

The International Reading Association invites and welcomes members and non-members from every part of the world to attend the 58th Annual Convention. Participants are not required to be a presenter in order to attend the convention. We recommend that you start the visa application process five to six months before the convention begins. It is also wise to secure your travel visa and airline reservations before registering for the convention. For more information, please visit our Housing & Travel Page.

You may register in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, Hall A, at the following times:

Accessibility & Accommodations

If you require special accommodations as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), please indicate this at the time of registration.

Manual wheelchairs and scooters can be reserved in advance with Tom’s Wheelchair Rentals. Daily and weekly rates are available. To make a reservation, call 210-223-7878. You may also email your request. For more details and pricing, go to www.tomswheelchairs.com.
