The Guide to the Stars is now available online! For the uninitiated, the Guide to the Stars is the insider's handbook to author signings in the Exhibit Hall.
NEW! In the back of the Guide to the Stars, you will find a complete listing of all Exhibitor Sessions taking place in the Convention Center.
Pick up a printed copy of the Guide to the Stars on-site, in the Registration Area.

Immediately after Saturday's General Session, come to Hall A for a fun free throw event and a chance to win cool prizes. Members of the American Basketball Association's Texas Fuel will be on hand to help you get nothing but net. Available on Saturday only, until 2:30PM.

NEW! IRA Works! (Booth #3235)
In Hall C, visit the IRA Choices exhibit. The 2013 Choices reading lists consist of recently published books selected by children, young adults, teachers, and librarians. The reading lists help young readers find books they will enjoy.
You can also learn how IRA International Affiliates are making an impact across the globe. Various IRA literacy projects will be showcased. Information about volunteer opportunities for IRA committees and/or international projects will be available.
Texas Association of Literacy Education (TALE) (Booth #3526)
Through conferences, newsletters, websites, and journals, this IRA state council provides access to quality information on the topics of interest to educators committed to the literacy development of their students. Visit them in Hall C, or online at www.texasreaders.org.

No need to leave the Exhibit Hall to grab a quick bite to eat! Concessions stands are conveniently located in both Halls B and C.
Bag Check
For your safety and the safety of others, all wheeled carts, baby strollers, and luggage must be left outside of the Exhibit Hall. You can check these items outside of Hall C.
Webstations
Don't have a laptop or smart phone? Use our free webstations to keep in touch with colleagues and family while at the conference. Located in Bridge Hall, as well as the lounge area from Hall A to Hall B.
New Orleans Visitor's Bureau
Also in the lounge area from Hall A to Hall B, you'll find information about New Orleans, where IRA's 59th Annual Conference will be held, May 9-12, 2014.
