The Ronald W. Mitchell Convention Travel Grant provides funding to allow teachers of children in grades 1–6 (or equivalent) who might otherwise not have the opportunity to attend an IRA annual convention. Two grants are awarded each year for up to US$1,200 each to support a first-time attendee.
