In Chapter, 2 you will learn about drawing and explore a few “tricks” that artists use to draw realistic images of still life scenes, the human figure, and other subject matters. These techniques are designed to help you develop your talent with one of the most common art forms in ELA classes. You will learn to read art elements that are associated with drawing, and you will learn five basic drawing techniques to help you artistically represent meaning more realistically. Such inquiry into drawing will support your development as an artist, and help you work with students to develop their knowledge of drawing.
